Brief
The People & Culture team at Cru oversees the support, care, and resourcing of Cru’s staff around the country. With mental health questions and crises on the rise, particularly in the youth demographic that Cru serves, the P&C team decided to revamp their resources pertaining to mental and emotional well-being.
This piece of the project lays the groundwork for future conversations and training for team leaders.
For this project, friendly illustrations were combined with thoughtful content layouts for both print and web use.
Illustrations
P&C wanted to make sure these guides, which cover difficult topics, still had a friendly feel - without using corny stock photography.
Illustrations add a personal touch without being too imposing. The cool-toned, soft colors resonate with the heavy content, while little “doodle” elements make it feel less daunting.
Staff Guides
Though most content would be housed online, print-ready pages were designed for “quick reference.” Staff, particularly team leads, are encouraged to keep these guides at hand, ready should the need arise.
